Looking at Colgate's offense

Colgate’s Offense:

The Red Raiders’s loss last week to CCSU was directly related to the play of Colgate’s offense.

Sr. QB Mike Saraceno was making his first varsity start. He did not do well. He threw FIVE interceptions and fumbled once. If he plays poorly next week we might see backup QB Lee Sloan 5-10 185.

The other big disappointment for Colgate was Sr. RB Ray Lamonica. He rushed 19 times for only 60 yards. He also fumbled once. Backup Steve Hansen (no link available) rushed 11 times for a 5.1 yard/carry average. We might see him next week too. Seven turnovers will get you beat.

The Raiders five other seniors other than those mentioned above are:

DeWayne Long FL 6-0 205 6th year senior, 1st team All-Patriot league
Jeremy Wurst LT 6-5 281
Mark Mushel LG 6-2 307
Ryan Hall RG 6-2 306
Todd Mulligan 6-2 299
Ben Evans FB 5-11 241

Hopefully the Raiders will take another week to get their offense on track.
