Former UMass Defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator Bill McGoven has been retained as part of the Boston College coaching staff after they changed head coaches.McGovern was defensive backs coach for the Minutemen 1987-1990 and Defensive Coordinator 1992-1993.
Also in the news, former UMass Running Backs coach Mike Cassano has been hired at Florida International. His UMass bio is here. Mike was running backs coach with UMass from 1998-2004.
