UMass opens at Kansas State on Sept 5th. This article has the first preview of the '09 Cats that I've seen (mentions UMass).

FWIW, they are saying on message boards that K-State will play Tennessee Tech (3-8 last year) at home on Sept 26th. Two FCS/I-AA teams will not make the Wildcats fans happy. There's no confirmation of this that I could find.
