Several recruiting services report UMass is showing interest in Stephon Zayas, a 6-6 weakside DE from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Partial quote from a 05/23 article on Scout.com by Dave Lomonico:

“The schools I’d like to see are Pitt, Louisville, Maryland, UCF and Bowling Green,” said Zayas, whose only campus visit thus far has been to Miami. “But we’ll see what I have time for and what other schools get involved. I want to get offers from Michigan State, Syracuse and UMass. All those schools are showing interest, so I could visit them too if they offer.”

Zayas said he has “no idea” when he’d like to choose a college. He did say, however, that he’d like to take official visits before doing so."

Zayas holds 15 offers including Pitt, Rutgers and Temple from the Northeast.
