Big Blog Bulletin

Time sure does fly. Mrs Blog and I are off on our 2017 vacation this time to Europe.

Given the time difference and the fact I'm not sure how much internet connectivity I'll get, I'm not going to do a daily blog post until we get back, which will be on the 26th.

If something mammoth happens, I'll make it a point to post.

Enjoy your vacation Frank. We will hold the fort until you return.
I was in Paris last month.
Avoid talking about Trump if possible.

I leave and we sign a three-star quarterback. I think we're going to have a good recruiting class in 2018.

Cold and rainy here in Amsterdam so far...

Three star WR verbals to UMass

Internet connection has been very spotty so far on our river cruise. I could not have done daily blog posts. I'll catch up when we get home.

UMass is off to a good start on the 2018 recruiting class!

I believe the WR is a 2017 commit.

It may be too late to obtain a decent RB for the depleted corps of backs. Losing Lindsay and Pickett, with no new RB recruit for 2017 is a strange way to approach the coming season. What can Whip be thinking,or is he?

I personally would love a JUCO OLineman addition. I think depth at that position is a need and I feel that there are players on the roster that can fill the 3rd string RB position especially the two walk-ons. Also, Coach Whip isn't afraid to hand the ball off to the FB.

My prediction: Coach Whip and his staff add an Offensive Lineman and Running Back before the end of the summer.

Ingram has been moved to RB per the latest iteration of the spring roster. Odiah and Orekoya are both in-state products who will get touches this fall. They are excellent, albeit, without the pedigree of a FL prep career. I think MW recognizes their ability. It would seem that Ingram will be used as a change of pace to Young and will be second on the depth chart.
